Author Talk: 'Where I Belong'

Soo Jin Lee, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Linda Yoon, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, have personally observed the frequent neglect of mental health issues in their immigrant families and within Asian and Asian American communities. Their book Where I Belong illuminates how trauma is perpetuated through generations and impacts relationships, with an emphasis on the Asian American experience.

Join us for a talk with the authors to learn more about their book, how it came to be, and how to address a unique form of trauma that encompasses both racial and intergenerational suffering. Soo and Linda will also explore ways to embrace generational differences and the beauty of identity and culture.
